Spring cleaning gives me a great sense of accomplishment!! And it's a bonus when I find a long-lost item. :D The only thing is that I'm super behind in my homework.. Sigh.

Yesterday had loads of fun! School ended at around 10am after the ~~super boring with the exception of guitar performance :D~~ cny celebrations. We planned to have a "class outing" at a HM's house, so some of them went to play bball while waiting for the rest to appear. After that we travelled to her house (some of them playing bridge in the bus) and dabao-ed food back to eat. Her house is like so awesome with great facilities!! Played mahjong after lunch while the others played bridge, then headed down to the clubhouse to play pool while those not playing at any one time played bridge/ asshole daidi. When I finally left it was about 6.20pm, so I met my brother for dinner! Spent a long time stupidly queueing at the ridiculously long queue when I was only buying drinks (didn't see the single-basket queue) then ate shared a foot-long subway with kor kor! After that I was so beat I collapsed on the couch for about 12 hours straight. O:

Seriously???

I'm really skeptical about this whole thing... Is it really being sure about your own identity or actually an act against nature? Maybe the child just behaves differently and likes different things because of the sister's influence? Doesn't mean that he/she is a girl... just that he would not fit in the community for being "strange". If it is really like being born in the wrong body, then why are these cases so prevalent in the West but rare in the East? Just because there is more freedom of expression? Or are things going wrong because there is too much freedom?

PS: And somehow there are much more cases of transgender from male to female than vice versa.

PPS: I think it's more like there is a need to make the physical transition because of gender roles by the society. I mean, if there was gender equality, no one would care if you were a guy who behaves like a girl. You wouldn't be forced to formally change yourself just to be "who you are". Wouldn't that be ironic? All this makes me think what actually is the definition of a guy or a girl?

Two good things happened today! :D

I went to the airport with my mum and bro to receive my dad. We first ate at pastamania. At first I wasn't keen on eating there cause I don't feel that the food there is very special...but then my mum spotted BEEF PASTRAMI under the aglio olio section!! >< omg I love that dish!! I was so sad when the limited period ended. Hehe. So, needless to say, the awesome food lifted my spirits right away. Plus T3 has so many shops now!! ^^ And then I also saw this shoe at Bata! Love that design!! I've seen the design at so many places and it always looks nice! But a bit guilty after buying now cause it's quite pricey... :/

Today was a fruitful and tiring day. Really depressing to think that I have to go to school tomorrow. Actually I didn't really treat school seriously or think too much about attending lectures last week, but after CCA started on Friday I feel kind of sick of school... Sick of having to stay back and practice, and dreading the start of the holidays where I'll have to force myself some way or another to sit down and really do work, which I haven't done in...a few years? :/ Need to really buck up now...

Woke up early today to meet my brother for breakfast after he came out from camp. He's got 2 more weeks to freedom! I've got 1 more week to holidays which won't be relaxing at all. (IF I follow my plan...) Anyway, I went back home and started swimming for the first time in ages! I even forgot how to breathe properly. -.- Swam a few laps, with many breaks in between cause I was panting the whole time. :x The result was ache in my shoulders and leg muscle. ): Sigh, I've really aged. Anyway, dressed up nicely and then went out at 1.30 to bring my mother, brother (who had gone out) and then Ahma to my cousin's house for her baby's 满月! But ended up only reaching there at 3pm cos we didn't know where to find my brother. -.- Anyway, there were lots of kids there...hung around until 4+ then sent my Ahma and aunt home, then went to Vivo! My mom wanted to get a new phone since her phone was chipped from being dropped countless times, and I did lots of shopping! *guilty* I bought a FIR album, then bought a pullover from FOX (♥), then contacts and also tanktops! Still arguing with myself about whether I should have gotten bi-weekly contacts instead of daily ones.... Oh well. Gosh, and I feel quite vain.

Gah! So many things on my mind! And the thing that is on the top of my mind now is school. Really very sian of everything. And I'm afraid of meeting monkeys on the overhead bridge on my way to school. ): That there were so many of them and I was really terrified! O: I was so afraid they would attack me cos I had bread in my hand. :/

PS: Oh, and my brother bought a jacket from Uniqlo! I love it! It is red with black stripes and has a hood! I feel happy when my brother buys stuff cos it's such a rare occurrence. >< And I feel doubly happy when he buys pretty stuff like the jacket.

We ate at Sakae Sushi just now and.... they were playing Love So Sweet!! And after that they played a song by Kat-tun!! I forgot what song it was though. Such a pleasant surprise! I was really excited when I heard the songs. X) It's really rare to hear the songs playing outside since J-pop is not really popular in Singapore. Especially those by boybands! And the songs are pretty old too...

Went to 逛逛 at Great World after lunch just now! The winter jackets at Esprit are nice! But... I can't buy since they are expensive and I already bought one from FOX last year... And the Starbuck's new Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha is good too! XD And and... I wanna buy 范范 and FIR's CD. ):

Went to Bugis Village today for lunch at the Soup Spoon! Roast Pumpkin Soup was yummy. (:

I'd lost my pencil and was really really depressed because my mom was saying that she couldn't find the same model some time back. I even went online to search for it! :/ Then while we were at Bugis Village my mom said she knew of a bookshop and brought me there. It's called NBC and I just found out that it's from Japan♥! I was super excited when I saw the shop cos the first thing I saw was...Ghibli characters!!! All the soft and fluffy keychains and soft toys~! They're really the cutest things! I love the white creature from Totoro and the sootball keychain!! But...it quite pricey so I didn't buy. ): Anyway, they distracted me from going to look for my pencil, so I went to the stationery section after staring at the cute toys and searched for my beloved pencil. I was going to give up and buy a pencil I found nice when my mom found the pencil I was searching for!!! :D I got my previous pencil picking it from a computer lab in school, so this time I was able to choose the colours! ((: But I couldn't decide whether to get the light blue or my previous dark blue, so I bought both. Heh. (:

So conclusion is: THE BOOKSTORE IS FAB ♥♥

Got back Chem MCQ answers today!! I'm really ~~surprised~~ glad that I did well!! Really made my day today. I was extremely nervous while she was giving us our marks, but I got 75%! Can you believe it?? It's probably the highest I've ever scored for Chem la! But I'm still afraid for my paper 2, cos a lot of my answers in the MCQ was guesswork. :/ And there was like one question where only 3 or 4 people got it right, and teacher was like asking who was the last person...no one raised their hand until she was getting a little pissed then I realised my shaded answer and the one I wrote on the question paper was different! That was embarrassing. I dunno if I shaded wrongly or I changed my answer, but it seems the former is the more likely case. :x But seriously!!! Chem, my worst subject ever, 75%!!! Okay, better not get my hopes too high...I have a feeling paper 2 would be horrible. Especially my section B!! I scored like 0 or something for CT. D:

Today was an eventful day! There was like a power outage in the middle of our paper, like 4 minutes before the H1 paper ends XD. It was quite cool. Everything just suddenly went dark and even the aircon was switched off.

After that we had class outing! ~~While six of our classmates had a little clique outing on their own instead of joining us.~~ -.- We ate at a jap retaurant in cineleisure (passed by H&M!) and 6 of them ate buffet while the other 4 of us ate separately. Then the six of them were like acting a little weird, going out of the restaurant one by one and then coming back together with an icecream cake for our classmate's birthdayy (: Chatted a lot, went to an interesting shop with lots of cute stuff and clothes. I really like this key holder thingy with the design of a birdhouse!! It's so cute and pretttyyyy~ After that we watched Johnny English!!! It was really awesome! I wanna watch it again!! Haha at first I thought it was slightly lame but then there was one part where I really laughed so hard my eyes teared and my stomach hurt. >< Then I went to my grandma's house in the rain while almost getting lost since I couldn't recognise Dhoby Ghaut station. :/ Had fun fighting over pillows with my baby cousin. XD

I've been slacking quite a lot these 2 days... plus the last weekend. Haiz. Need to buck up and do some work or I'm screwed for promos!!! There's only 27 days left! T^T

Yesterday was be yourself day~ Haha, I wore crescent uniform! Felt kind of awkward. >< It was fun to see so many people in their secondary school uniforms too! Haha, but crescent is always the most conspicuous. I felt like I was cosplaying or something :/

GAH. I haven't updated for so long. There's been a lot of things going on, all the tests, homework, PW, CCA. In a nutshell, common test results were horrendous, PW is a big nuisance, I got suspended from CCA, and am not playing for the guitar concert held at esplanade together with the German ensemble. SPA is all over, and I screwed up the physics one. Things are just fantastic. On a happier note, we hosted some Vietnamese students a few weeks back, and it was the most enjoyable week in a while. The concert is on Monday, and I'll be going to watch it so I can hear the Germans play~ There's still about one more school day left till the holidays, excluding Teachers' Day celebrations. The school day is a day where we have a chem test, and the dean and physics HOD or something (maybe even the VP) is going to observe our class. Teacher's gonna collect our physics file after the holidays, and I probably need to do all my tutorials properly before the holidays end.

Did I miss out anything? It's a relief to be able to just say what's been on my mind and bothering me for so long. I've been liable to self-combust with all the stuff I've been suppressing.

PS: OH YA. I missed out the most important thing! 33 days left to promos. GAAAHHHH.

Went out for class outing today after CTs! (: We went to Ion and ate lunch at Popeyes, then went to Marina Square as usual for bowling~ Oh, and some of them went to try the UFO catcher and they actually got something!! X) We got a class mascot now. ><

Bowling was...kind of disappointing for me. The first round I scored 77, and 104 on the second round. Kind of glad I hit the 100 mark, but it was all because of 3-4 spares that I had. ): I want a strike soo bad!! I can't believe it, it's been so long since I had one. The other time we played I didn't have any strike either!! I'm really losing my touch... (if there was any in the first place)

After ECP, the bunch of us went to Marina Square for dinner, where we played 终极密码. The waiter was so funny and offered us wasabi XD. Oh, and we saw him serving while we were at marina today! Lol. Then after that some of them went to play pool, while I sat and watched. I really can't play the game. Left the place at about 10.15, probably the latest I've ever been out playing with friends. My phone died though, and my mom couldn't contact me. :/ I was made to go home, or I might've stayed longer. :x

Watched the musical Lion King on Saturday!! It was pretty awesome. :DD Got me more interested in the story since I was never really into the show. After the musical I went back home and watched the original movie, and realised the lines from the musical were the same as in the movie. It was nice that they didn't change too much of it. (: And I love the grown-up Simba's voice!! I was really impressed when he first appeared. Didn't really like grown-up Nala though...her voice was pretty deep :/ Sigh, still prefer the original songs. Still, it was money well spent. XD All the dancers and props were amazing.

Had guitar practice today. I like our new song! It's Kiss the Rain~ But it's always a struggle for me when we start new songs...don't understand how people can pick it up so easily. ):

He's simply fantastic! But obviously we won't be playing like that. -.- We need like 30+ people to play while he can just cover all our sections by himself...

Many things happening recently!

I had my first photog duty last week! I was down for the SISC opening ceremony on Tuesday. Actually I regretted signing up for it since there were lessons (I thought it was e-learning week!) but it was somewhat enjoyable cause I got to make new friends who were also on duty! (: We first went to LT5 for the opening ceremony, then down to the atrium for lunch, then to the hall for some exhibition. Then we went back to the photog room to edit photos! I felt like many photos I took weren't good enough... Anyway, after that we had lunch, then went on a learning journey with the SISC people. That's where things started going downhill... Firstly, there were 3 of us photographers, but we were all separated!! There were 3 places for learning journey: NEWater and 2 waste-to-energy plants. Actually it was somehow made better by having someone from my cca in the group, but still it felt very extra to be together with them... And the worst thing was, we kind of got lost...We went to the wrong place! It was some time before the teacher realised, and by that time the bus already drove away somewhere. So we had to wait for the bus to come back, then travel somemore to the correct destination. I think by the time we reached, we had spent one and a half hours?!! Sigh..I was dead tired and slept on the way back to school. It was soo late by the time we reached! We were supposed to reach by 5 (the guy who went NEWater reached at 4.30!), but I reached at around 6.30! So ridiculous... So I ate dinner and then edited the photos before going home. Luckily, I didn't need to stay for the later events at night unlike the other photog people cos I stay where it was inconvenient for our senior to send me home. (X The others stayed for some Wall-E screening and took our senior's car home.

Thursday was class outing~~~ We ended really early, since we only had 2 hours of lessons. At first there were 8 of us, but my friend suddenly had something on and left us while we were waiting for our bus ): We went to cineleisure! I didn't know there was a straight bus from our school! :x We went to eat at burger king, which I love, but came to become my friend's most hated restaurant when she accidentally ate beef when she wasn't supposed to. D: Anw, we played monodeal, then went to watch Kungfu Panda! The show was quite ok, but I guess the story didn't appeal to me that much/I was really lacking in sleep/the seats were just too fluffy and comfortable and I dozed off. A few times. D: But I watched the end! Hahaaha. I love the graphics. The background is just amazing. After that we went to scape to walk around! Then we took MRT to Marina for Bowling!!! <33 I miss the game ): But I deproved on the second game and didn't get a single strike when everyone had it at least once. )): Anw, I still love it. It was fun funn!

Friday I was down for photog duty again. D: It was leadership sympossium this time, and was as boring as it could get. -.- I was the only one down for that duty!! I think I got scammed by my senior. Anw, I went around the classes after my lessons to take photos of them having their reflections session. Then they went into the hall and had a ego-booster session. I found my friends in the hall! At least that made it better. Somewhat. Then the guest of honour came, then the usual speeches... Quite boring ): Oh! But when I was waiting in the photog room before my duty, I found something interesting on the cluttered table in the room! It was Wednesday's SISC newsletter...which showed photos taken on Tuesday!! :DD I found photos I took (: Haha, really felt a sense of achievement, though none of my photos were on the front page ): and we took so many! But there were like less than 20 chosen?

That night, I went for HC's string concert to support my friend~~ It was so awesome!! And I met Jiawei and Lyn!!! So happy to see them (: The concert was just fab <33 I recorded one song I recognised, but wished I could have recorded the rest too ): The encore was sensational!! Haha. It was amazing to see their hands move so fast up and down the double bass!! o.o

Later that night, I went to watch Pirates!! :DD I had a long day XD. Lol, it was a 11.45 show, and I fell asleep halfway again. :/ Ok, before that, I met my cousins and we went for ice-cream at Scoopz!! Played one game of monodeal then went to the cinema~ The show was so good! I like it better than the last 2. :D The mermaids were so pretty~ But kind of freaked me out in the scene where they were fighting :/. I hope they keep the cast!! <333

Saturday we had family dinner to celebrate mother's day! (belated) Bought Gongcha coffee but chose only 30% sugar ): I think my stomach didn't feel too good after that. Went to my cousin's house and got so tempted by them playing maple! Haha, reminds me of my childhood days... Ahem. XD

Monday night was HC dance night!! Another awesome performance!! Hiphop and Bboy was just cool~ Never attended a concert like this one before. But some of the performances freaked me out a little. :/ All the gasping on stage...*shiver* But it's no denying their talent! (:

Last week was pretty eventful. I had guitar concert on thursday! We weren't very good, but oh well... We've only just started anyway so it's quite an achievement already (: And I also got my dslr on the same day!! Haha, it's just fabulous. But kind of guilty for being able to spend 1k so easily. :/

Went to eat out on saturday with family and tried out the new camera at the same time! :D Shall upload photos another time though. After that, went to IR@MBS!! ((: My cousins were staying there so we went to walk around. They got a freaking suite!! Damn cool, got mahjong table somemore. XD Then we also went to the rooftop garden! Super awesome. And found that the dslr's pretty awesome too. (;

The next morning my family woke up early and went to mbs again for a charity walk. Didn't take as many photos, but it was nice walking around instead of lazing in bed on a sunday morning. Kind of regretted queueing for the goody bag though. ):< the queue was damn long! I think we queued for more than an hour...not a nice experience. ):

Hehe, just came back (about 40 minutes ago?) from movie @ amk hub with 5 other people from my class. It was awesome~! Haha, first time watching Fast and Furious. >< I actually thought it'd be quite boring, but it was pretty funny. (: We actually chionged our dinner at mos burger, then rushed into the theater a few minutes late ): After that we stayed around and ate dessert before going back around 10. I feel so bad for going out and enjoying myself when I've not done my work... :/

Went for night photog on Saturday night! Sad cos a few people couldn't make it, and it clashed with my mother's day celebration for my ahma ): I didn't have a tripod (nor a dslr, for the matter) so it was pretty sucky trying to balance my camera on the railing. :X And I only managed to get one satisfying shot while wasting half the time there. Sigh, should have left early to join my family for the dinner ): Anw, I tried to find my way to the hotel they were eating at, but it was damn fail and by the time my cousin led me the right way back, everyone had left -.- It was totally not my day, cos I went to school in the morning supposedly for guitar practice but they cancelled it without me knowing. Sigh, quite depressing to think about it.

In a very good mood right now~ Haha, I think I shouldn't be, but I just feel quite happy. (As long as I don't think about schoolwork...)

My mum fetched me after guitar today! Then we went to eat out and I bought Gong Cha~~ Haha, really like their milk tea... It really put me in a better mood especially since I've been quite moody these few days... And guitar was fun too! Haha, not sure if it's actually the playing of the guitar or just being with friends that makes me happy. Actually I was quite frustrated because I couldn't play as much or as well as the others. So after I came back home I practised some more. I think it's much easier to practise at home, probably because there won't be the fear of making mistakes and embarrassing yourself in front of others. :/

But I need to prioritise!! Reaally need to do work, though I feel so relieved after handing up my ridiculous load of maths homework. (: Lols, just hope the teacher won't scold me for leaving loads of blanks. :X

PS: Looking forward to speech day and funfair this Saturday!! >< But somehow hoping Friday won't come as soon as Saturday because there's Physics test. D: Oh oh! I'm home already!! Haha, actually reached home about 50 minutes ago and started filling my almost perpetually grumbling stomach with unhealthy snacks. :/

Anw, was released early today because there was no PW lecture~~ Lol, but I feel bad for my friend because she was having PE under the blazing hot sun. )): Oh, and I was actually thinking of going for hwachong's talentime today... (Actually I can still go later if I want) I think it'll be fun cos my friend is performing!! She's so cool and talented..

Lol, something really random today: I found an eraser on the floor (it has a =) on it) and I didn't know who it belonged to, so I decided to throw it away. (Ok, I know it's not exactly the right thing to do, but...) Anw, I managed to throw it into the bin from my seat!! Hahaha. Very childish, but it was funny... I was quite amazed and proud of myself XDD. Actually it's not the first time I've done that la, used to do that in secondary school too. And the reactions of those around me are priceless. X)

PS: Got lots and lots of work to do!! But I want to just practise my long-neglected guitar for now...

AWESOMENESS!!!

Okay, just got my letter of invitation for Crescent's SPEECH DAY!! :DD Like first time getting an award for real achievement(not improvement) in a long long time. Actually, the award is not that fantastic(I think it's the lowest you can get)... but I guess I can't help it. Didn't work hard enough. ):

Something that made my day yesterday: (Haha, I'm so easily satisfied) I passed NAPFA!!! As in passed according to school standards, which is a silver!! I'm so happy because I didn't expect it and was so worried I'd have to retake my 2.4 if I don't pass in 2 weeks' time!! ONLY ONE MORE YEAR OF NAPFA TO GO~~ And my 5 stations all improved from last week's!! 10.9s for shuttle run, 32 sit-ups, 163cm for standing broad jump, 40cm for sit-and-reach and 14 inclined pull-ups!! :D Should actually try to improve my standing broad jump to get Gold, but who cares~~~ Oh, and my 2.4 was 14:58. Not my best, but can't be bothered to retake. ;D AND AND! I got a new phone on Saturday~~ And my father bought me a 16GB card for it!! Haha, it's Xperia X8. Quite an old model, but the others are uglyyy. It was supposed to be $0, but my phone line only costs like $10 a month so I had to pay $100. D: Still damn happy. Wi-Fi is awesome. (:

So many things to worry about. PW deadline. Maths homework deadline. Need to catch up on all the tutorials. Oh crap, and I almost forgot about the Econs graded essay coming up. Not to mention that I haven't been practising guitar and that the CCA day is changed from Monday to Thursday such that it clashes with Photog!! D: And there's photog competitions too. Another thing is NAPFA! Dammit la, stupid school's passing grade is a silver, and I missed by 2cm for sit and reach!! Like wth la. Have to retake all 5 stations next week somemore. If I don't clear in time, I might even need to rerun 2.4!! No way....

After coming back from the Maldives trip, I find myself struggling with work and guitar! D: Shall post about the trip another time when I've gotten the photos. My camera went out of batteries and I didn't charge it before the trip cos I couldn't find the charger, so I've only got photos of the first day plus some photos I took with my phone camera. Anyway, back to the subject of school, it's a bore as usual... I wish I could get even closer to my classmates. (plus guitar and photog mates too!) Well, I suppose I have about 1 year and 9 months for that, but I still feel like a loner at times. Oh, and NAPFA is starting really soon! Got a great shock when I tried standing broad jump on Tuesday. I jumped 163cm!! It's like my record la. :/ I just hope I can do as well when we have the actual test. And I feel fitter too! Like I can run faster than when I first started school. Maybe the heat from Maldives burned my fats off. :D

I feel I am super pro at making friendship bands!! Wahaha~ *self-praise* I'm currently in a self-satisfied mood. Btw, the bands are for the Maldivians! Can't wait to go~ (Though I might be missing another OG outing) I'm also making dragonfly knots for them. Hope they'll like it~

It's been really busy these few days... We celebrated my OG friend's birthday on Thursday, though the actual date is Sunday. The night before I wanted to make a card, but I had CCA and reached home quite late and promptly went to sleep soon after reaching home. So that early morning I rushed to make a card/letter for her, then went to school early to celebrate~ Yesterday she returned me a card she made, which was super cute and sweet. :D

On Saturday we had Maldives meeting at Buona Vista. I went there with my friend, and at first we reached the mrt station like 30 minutes early and were walking really slowly, but because we didn't know the way, we asked a few people and they gave us wrong directions!! They all thought some other random building was the CC. -.- Anyway, we made it just in time but there were already quite a number of people there. So next was all the planning, which was pretty boring because we were in charge of logistics. Then we also practised some dance for the Maldivians. Now there's another dance to remember!! ): It's kinda weird. But we're also dancing Insomnia! Which is fun but somewhat awkward because I was dancing with a guy I just met. Actually I can't really remember what we did...It was about 3+ when we were done (we were there at 10am) and I didn't go for my OG outing which was 1pm at Orchard... D: Then that evening I went to my grandma's house for the usual weekly visit, and something really weird happened...Not going to elaborate.

On Sunday I went shopping! Not for leisure (well, not really), but mainly to buy some craft stuff to make souvenirs for the Maldivians! We went to some shop in Chinatown, which was super awesome and big with plenty of cool materials. Must remember to go back there~ But the place is a little rundown or something; when we were browsing the shelves, at a particular area in the shop, the floor was like vibrating. Quite scary. It's probably some construction on another floor, but you could see the stuff on the shelves shaking madly. Anyway, I bought strings to make the friendship bands and drangonflies! :D

Monday we had the usual lessons, but we also had PE. D: It was the first real training for 2.4, because last week we took height and weight and there was lightning alert. It was bad. D: I'm terribly out of shape. We ran 3 rounds around the track, had a 2-minute break, then ran another 3 rounds. Then after that we did crunches and planks etc. After school, I went to meet the guitar people to get our new scores and go out to buy guitars! (: At first I thought they would help us buy and deliver to the school, but we were actually going out to shops to pick our own guitar. We took a terribly long route to Bras Basah, where we took a bus to Marymount station (I passed by my house!), then changed to red line at Bishan (which included some guy being left on the platform when the door closed on him and us having to wait for him at Bishan) and then taking the train all the way to City Hall then walking to Bras Basah Complex from there. We took quite long to look at all the guitars and find the one we like best. And it was particularly hard to find classical guitars. Anyway, we went to the first shop our seniors recommended, but the guitar wasn't particularly impressive and the guitar which looked nice didn't sound nice. (Anyway, they didn't have enough stock in the store and we would have had to go back the next day if we wanted it.) At another shop, there were 2 guitars which sounded good, but they had no stock and we had to wait 2-3 months!! So it wasn't possible since we had to practice for some Arts Fest. So in the end, at about 7 or 8 pm, we decided to go to another shop in Simei (damn far!!) But we were kind of desperate, so 4 of us plus 3 seniors went there. There weren't many guitars there to choose from, but the sound quality of the guitars were good!! There were really expensive ones, but all 4 of us liked the $157 guitar (excluding bag and before discount). In the end I paid $148.75 in total for the guitar plus bag, and including free strings!! Totally worth it~ The guitar most of the others bought at Bras Basah was like $175?? :D I hope ours is better. It sounded so but I can't be sure since it was in a different setting. And it's a lot under my budget too...I hope the quality is good (can't really tell XD) They had no stock at the store, but they are sending it to school (without delivery charge) tomorrow~~ *totally excited* But by the time I reached home, it was 10pm and I still hadn't taken dinner! ): Not to mention that I had a pile of untouched homework.

And we just had PE today!! DD: It was the last lesson of the day. We tried to convince the teacher to not let us run because we did it yesterday, but she said we had to train so we ran 1.6. Surprisingly, I sort of feel fitter compared to yesterday! (Is that possible?) My timing was not really good, but she said we should aim for under 10 minutes and my timing was 9m50s. xD I think I did better in primary school. D: But I was faster than some guys!! Haha, but they were probably just exceptionally slow.... Oh, and we had fun poking fun at a guy (before PE) because he did weird stuff. Shan't explain but I feel kinda bad for him... :/ Oh, and after 1.6 we did stuff like situps, pushups, leg raise etc. I think the teacher was mad at us for our attitude towards running and made us do 50 pushups. It was crazy! My legs were like jelly after the PE lesson and I was strolling on my way home. When I reached home I immediately grabbed a can of green tea to cool down and regain my energy. It was totally exhausting...*sweat*

PS: I'm tan!! I have an obvious watch tan line and a little specs tan line~ Haha, it's quite fast, like the moment school starts I start getting darker. But I didn't really do much under the sun...it's just oac's amazing race, oac pt and the recent PE lessons... At this rate, when I come back from Maldives I'll be chao tar.

We're finally in our classes today (more like yesterday?)! Tutorials and homework starting to come in~ And also had OAC pt today...D:

So, anyway lessons so far are pretty okay. I think it's so lucky to have someone I know in class! Though we weren't very close previously... And it's so good that there's lots of girls~ Haha, I was pretty worried since PCME is more popular with guys. Oh, another good thing is that we're all taking the same subjects, so hopefully we can stick together in all lectures and tutorials. :DD I think the people in my class are quite nice, but I guess I still need to talk to them more. And a lot of people are planning to join interact and photography! Yay~ Hope I can be close to those in photography. The teachers so far are very nice too. (:

We had a 2-hour+ break because PE ended early, so after lunch we started to play Monopoly Deal~ Quite fun, but I was a bit blur because it was only my second time playing. Then when I was nearly gonna win, they started bullying me and completely cleared all the property I owned. D: Lols. After that we played Captain's Ball!! I think it was quite fun, and is a great way to start remembering faces, though the way they play isn't that nice.... Like it can get quite violent especially with guys, and there were 2 minor injuries during the game. And they also tend to pass to the same people and throw to teammates who are very far even though there were other people they could pass to. Does this make sense? As in, it should be a game where the players exercise teamwork, but it's not really the case... I guess it can't be helped when we've only just met each other.

We had a math lecture with our OG today!! Probably the last one. )': Quite sad because I really won't have any contact with them other than the fact that we're in the same house.

After all the lessons I spent some time trying to get work done, but it was quite unproductive. ): Anyway, I waited for my friend then we went to eat some snacks and headed for OAC. It was....tiring. The warm-up alone made me perspire already! Then we ran one round around the track, took a break, then did sets starting from running one round, then crunches, push-ups and leg raise. Then we also did sets of inclined pull-up, some exercise I forgot the name off which trains the arm muscles, and crunches again. And there was more running etc.... When I was doing it, especially on the track, I seriously felt sick. Like my stomach was uncomfortable because I ate a snack just before pt, and my head was pounding because of the heat of the sun and the exercises. Now that it's over and I think back about it, it doesn't seem that bad, and also when we were just finished with everything I actually felt much better, but I'm worried I wouldn't be able to catch up with them if I join OAC. Like, the girls there are so fit and I have this feeling that today is already much easier and lighter than usual. And there would also be pt on thursday mornings! So how? Should I join and hope that my body would get accustomed to it, or should I stop before I die trying to make myself fit? And if I don't join OAC, what do I join?? Guzheng? Interact? Art? But Guzheng isn't that fun and the others are not that contrasting to Photography....

Friday and Saturday was so eventful!

Firstly, on Friday morning, I went straight to the board in the atrium because the classes were finally out! Don't know a lot of people there, but it was kind of expected since many people chose different combis. But luckily there's one who was my sec 1 and 2 classmate! It's awesome enough.

After lessons, we had our first Maldives OCIP trip briefing, then we also played games after that. Had to suddenly remember 36 other names! It's quite a feat. But the people seem nice~

Then we rushed off to find the OAC people because we were supposed to meet them 30 minutes before. But we just so happened met them while they were on their way to drop their stuff! Our timing was that good. So then we were put into groups, played whacko, the mrt game, then had a cooking competition! Wasn't exactly fantastic, but was edible anyway. After that we played 3 sets of games. First was twister while doing wheelbarrow, which was really tiring, so I gave up halfway cos I was in an uncomfortable position with someone's leg under my arm. Next was a sticker game where people were supposed to direct their blindfolded team member to stick their stickers on the right plate. Was super noisy because people were just randomly shouting to confuse the opposite team. The last game was just disgusting because we were to put our hands into a foul-smelling pail of water full of disgusting leftover food and try to find gummy bears. I have no idea how my team members did so well because I couldn't find anything at all. D: Anyway, the last was a waterbomb game with all the teams where one team member had newspaper around the neck and the team with the dryest newspaper would win. It was a total failure for our team cos we couldn't see properly in the dark and couldn't find the other newspaper guys and ours was wearing red and was the easiest to spot. After that we washed up, then slept on the field, which was super cool because of the moon and stars, plus the absence of frogs or insects cos it was artificial grass. But I still didn't really sleep well and woke up every hour.

(Totally not going to read this paragraph of my post, so please pardon any language errors)

At around 3+ in the morning, I was woken up to do the scary night walk thingy cos we were woken up in batches. Then they started by telling us creepy ghost stories until I was unsure if I was shivering because of the cold or because of fear. I was the last girl to go and at first they let 2 girls go together, but then changed their mind and forced me and my friend to go alone. I think it was creepy because it was in the dark and there were like so many steps (we were to follow lightsticks on the floor) and you didn't know what might suddenly jump out to you in the dark. I can't really remember all the stations, but the first was to go to a girls toilet and light some candles, which was where I burnt myself. D: I think it was kind of creepy that they dressed themselves up in like white and had bloodstains on their bodies. And they also spoke in creepy voices. :/ They did stuff like making random noises while we were walking, like singing/chanting and shaking the tables and stuff. The scariest was in another girls toilet with only 2 cubicles. I was to wash my hands with soap. When I entered, there was a voice saying come to me or something like that, which I ignored and tried to wash my hands (the sink had blood too), but the soap was not working, so I opened one of the cubicles and there was like one "ghost" dressed in bloody white clothing sitting in a corner with a bottle of soap. I took it, then went to wash, and the soap turned out red. Quite creepy. Like, the more you wash, the bloodier you get. Then she wash saying stuff in a creepy and insane voice like those you see on tv when they get raped or murder someone. And I happened to look in the mirror and saw some guy from the top of the cubicle. I didn't dare to look too carefully. Actually we were supposed to see him when we first enter, but I saw him from the mirror, which was more creepy. And some people said he had like a rope around him, like he was hanging himself. Anyway, the ghost with the creepy voice was like quite pressurising, like asking me to wash quickly or something like that. Plus she had a kind of insane laughter. I wanted to like laugh or something, not because it was funny, but just to make myself relax, but I realised I sounded like her. :/ Then I just wanted to leave, but she was like, give me back my soap, and then when I did, she said close the door, and then she shouted go away! And there was a banging sound made by the guy. Super creepy!! I really cannot explain how creepy it was in words. She was like repeating the words in her crazy voice. I think I practically ran out of there. The worst thing was the next morning, when I was brushing my teeth, I found my shirt with red stains! So gross!! It was like I really did something bad that night. There was one that was almost funny, where we walked past a classroom and where there was a computer at the window, and we were supposed to watch the video. We were supposed to click it, then there was a guy who creeped up to grab your hand while you were at it. Apparently he kept missing, because he was like "shit! missed again" when he missed my hand. Lols. And then the last station was at a rooftop, where there were these cute masked guys. They were so funny and cute!! I was supposed to turn 3 times, jump 3 times and clap 3 times, then they asked me to bend down to pass through a half-opened shutter. Then when I passed through, there was suddenly a scream, which really made me jump. (I realised I was saying oh my gosh throughout the night walk.) There was a person in the same creepy dressing standing right beside me. And because she did that to everyone, when I was finished with the night walk and was at the field, I could hear her! And then there was once when a guy shouted after she screamed. XD Anyway, after that I was led to the canteen where the rest of the people were waiting. Was an extreme relief. (And I'm feeling relieved to have finished repeating the story) After that we went down to the field where we were supposed to go back to sleep, but I stayed up with my friend and talked a bit to the next batch of people before finally sleeping at 6am for about an hour.When we woke up, there was like a girl sleeping near us, with her feet painted red. Lol. She was probably one of the ghosts.

Anyway, we went to wash up, then ate breakfast. I was sitting on the floor with some other girls when I saw this guy go into the girls toilet!! I told the rest when he came out, and they said he was like smiling. Then he came to us and was asking us if we were hungry and to eat more, and I was just laughing and didn't answer him. After that another senior came to talk to us and we asked him to ask that guy why he came out of the girls toilet smiling, and the guy said there was only one girl there and she was putting on makeup. Lols?!? Why was he there in the first place?? Haha, anyway, after that we set off for amazing race in our groups. First station was at Coro, where we were to find stuff at ntuc. I went to buy water at the same time. XD Then we went to Botanic gardens, where we were to take photos with a bird, a dog, someone exercising and a couple who's married or going to get married. We were also to go to the foot reflexology path which we were to walk on bare-footed while carrying each other. I was being carried, but it was so paiseh to the guy cos it was really painful. :/ After that we walked to Orchard road, where we were to find 5 people of different races and 15 people wearing different colours. We cheated a bit cos we did it on the bus. XD Anyway, after that we took a bus to Bras Basah, where we climbed up 28 storeys and had to find specific landmarks from up there. It's quite cool~ Then we took the bus to East Coast park. At the bus stop, we took photos and then they were asking us to sit next to a senior and she was like, are you scared of me because I was the ghost last night? Then she said she was the ghost in the 2nd toilet!! Ohmygosh. I really hated that ghost. I told her she was very scary and she treated it like a compliment. -.- Next was cycling at East Coast, but it was kind of redundant cos we cycled very short distances only because we were to cycle to various destinations to take photos. Still, it was fun. :D We took some time there, then we ate lunch at Mcdonald's and headed back to school! It was raining when we reached... While waiting for the other groups to arrive, we played heart attack, then H2O, then played captain's ball with another group! It was all very tiring and extremely fun. :DD After that, they announced the overall results (points accumulated throughout the camp), then we were given Island Creamery vouchers as prize, and then took a group photo and we went home! It was super enjoyable, and I would like to join OAC, but 1, I'm not sure if it would be as fun on normal CCA days (there's quite a lot of PT) and 2, I'm not sure if I can cope with photographic club as 2nd CCA.

Sigh, and there's so much homework! And I have lots to prepare for the OCIP trip! We'll see how it goes...

Okay, so today was a particularly boring as well as mentally and physically tiring day. (Does that seem contradictory??) Was a helper for road run today, because I'm still sick. ): I wish I could have just ran with the rest now. My OG seemed to have fun today, and yet I didn't get the chance to talk to them at all! I only watched from afar...

So, to cut things short, it was boring in the morning, when we had to prepare the stuff in the tent, physically tiring (a little) cause I was repeatedly going up and down the hill to transport 100plus to our tent, and mentally exhausting because I was supposed to be gathering the top 20 winners of a category and it's just so hard! I feel so useless for being unable to do anything. Anyway, everything combined with the fact that there were no friends around me made me call up my friend so we could go home together. XD So we went out to eat, then went to her house for a while! Her house is just so cool~~ I didn't even realise how near we live near each other. I love the backyard (?) behind her house. It's like a kampong with chickens and all! Oh, but I'm really not used to dogs and was quite jumpy when the dogs around started barking loudly. We also played badminton for a really really short while, then I went back home. Wish we had more time. ):

Changing the subject again, I just can't decide on a CCA! Guzheng or OAC? Art club or Photographic Society? Then what about Interact Club?? Or should I just follow my friends to make things simpler? Is that being too dependent on others and not having a real passion for things?? Sigh. Yesterday's Guzheng was okay, but I wouldn't call it exactly fun and it seems like no one I know is seriously considering it. But I was thinking performing arts would be a good contrasting CCA if I were to take a second CCA (Clubs and Societies)! OAC sounds fun if you make friends with everone, but I'm worried it'll be too tiring or take up too much time. Then my OGL said that Art Club is fun and at least I can talk to her during CCA. There's quite a few people I know who signed up for Photographic Society, and I don't know yet if it's a fun CCA. Interact Club would be meaningful and a more flexible CCA since they have activities in different places and on different days.

So how??

Shit! I just realised something!!

Yesterday, when we were playing truth or dare, the pen spun to me, and of course, I chose truth. Then they asked me if I have a guy I like. So I said, yes, in primary school. Then I added that it was because I was from a girls school. Actually, what I meant was that I was in an all-girls secondary school, so I didn't have anyone I like there, and I was from a mixed primary school. But obviously, I didn't say it clearly and they started laughing and saying stuff like lesbian or that there are also male teachers. -.- I was like totally confused at the time but now I finally get it!! My god. What a horrible misunderstanding. Now they probably think I'm like some freak. :/

So embarrassing!! Okay, but after a while it seems almost funny.

Omg!! Today was so fun and AWESOME!! :DD

Okay, so the lectures weren't exactly that enjoyable, but it was okay. Well, other than the fact that we had a GP diagnostic test and lots of homework to do over the weekend.

After the lessons, I went with my OG to the library with hopes of getting some work done, but I was soon stuck with chem (horrible!) and we suddenly started talking about creating our own CCAs since our school has quite little CCAs and we were saying how hard it was to get leadership positions (creating our own CCA would mean that we would be able to become exco member!). Lols.

Okay, so after that we went to meet with the rest of our OG mates and ate at Island Creamery!! Or at least they ate while I watched them. )): I'm still terribly sick. I want to try the pineapple-tart-flavoured ice cream!! Anw, we played truth or dare, which included disturbing some hci peeps and finding out some guy's ideals on marriage. XDD Oh, and we also made some random strangers laugh by making one guy profess his love to the dustbin. XD And while we were there, it rained!! ): it was quite heavy, and I got drenched while sharing a tiny umbrella with someone else. Not to mention that my feet got soaked while trying to walk through the puddles in school. But i suppose that only makes the day even more memorable. :D Oh, and then there was good news, while I was on the bus back to school, I received an SMS from my friend saying we both got into the Maldives CIP trip!! So happy, and extremely surprised because I thought I did badly for the selection round, where a group of about 30 of us sat in a circle and answered questions the teachers threw at us. I can't believe I was one of the 37 out of the group of 64 applicants who got selected! But I suppose some people backed out at the last minute.

So anyway, when we got back to school, we changed, ate pizza then hung around for a while before going up to the hall (where we took off our shoes to dry XD). Then we watched amazing performances by the OGLs from the 6 clans, which took pretty long but was fun and enjoyable all the same. (: After that was DANCE PARTY!! :D The HIGH-est one ever (okay, it was my first, but still....). We started by just jumping to the beat of the music, then we did the train thingy? The one where we put our hands on the shoulders of the person in front of us and just ran around. Damn fun and tiring. XD Then there was once when someone was following behind me, and I realized only after some time that it was my ex-classmate! Haha, quite funny. Then we did stuff like jumping while in a circle, and dancing to the more popular songs like Sorry Sorry, shut up and drive, and Insomnia~! The best mass dance ever! All in all, it was super fun, but when we went out to buy drinks, I felt like I was deaf. :/ And I had stitch from jumping too much and I was all sweaty and my legs are sore. >.< But it's still the best!

After that they showed us a video of photos from our orientation. There were quite a few photos of us. ((: Then we danced to Insomnia and Summer Nights again, took photos of our sweaty selves and shouted cheers!! I just can't describe how very enjoyable and high it was.

PS: I wonder if you know? OG 5 is so pro!!

HAPPY CNY~~

Haha, although today's the 4th day already.

Ok, so on CNY eve I went back to Crescent with a couple of friends, hoping to be able to catch their celebrations because our school's one was totally not high at all. D: By the time we reached, the celebrations were over and the school was quite empty. Sigh, anyway, we met up with some others, then toured around the school. It's changed quite a lot! It's funny how there's so many changes just when we leave the school. And a lot of our teachers also left... The indoor sports hall is pretty cool. I haven't seen a basketball hoop for like 4 years already?? After that we took MRT to clementi and ate at Sumo House! The food was okay, but it's cheap. Then I went back home...and fell asleep. :/ Woke up and showered before rushing off late to my grandma's house for reunion dinner. (steamboat! :D)

On the first day, we did the usual stuff, went to my grandma's house then to another distant relative, and then to my other grandma's house. We went and played the bomb thingy for a short while and then went to starbucks, where we stoned a bit, because the boys were being anti-social and playing their PSPs. So then we went up, ate dinner (first yusheng of the year) then waited until other relatives come visit at night. They were showing red cliff, which was kinda interesting, but I didn't watch from the start so I didn't know what was going on...and then I fell asleep again. XD So then the other distant relatives arrived, and we saw the cutest twins for the first time!! My mother's cousin gave birth to the cute girls who were 9 months old and they were so small and pretty and clever and obedient! X)) Lols.

Second day was just spent at home. A complete waste of time... :X

Third day, which was yesterday, we went out for CNY lunch! Went to my humble house @ Esplanade! I totally love the area. And the food was good too, which is to be expected, considering the price. After that we went hunting at 2 places for a mahjong table, but we couldn't find it. D: So we went back to my grandma's house, went to play 2 rounds at the broken mahjong table, then I set off to my teacher's house! Went to Kallang MRT where we were supposed to meet, but there was no one there, so I called my friend for directions and set off myself. I was like stoning halfway during the bus ride, then tried to pay attention to my surroundings so I knew where to drop when I met 2 friends who came up the bus! Lol, it was kind of funny because they went down the bus to check where to stop and took the next bus instead. XD So we went to my teacher's house, which was so nice and full of friendly people, and chatted a bit and played Wii until dinner time. After dinner I hung around a bit, then continued hogging the Wii until I left at around 9pm. XD Hmmm...somehow it doesn't sound as fun when you put it in words, but I think it was enjoyable seeing everyone together again and talking to each other. Then I took circle line with 3 awesome friends before transferring to green line then going back to my grandma's house. The entire day was just super fun!

Today we went to my grandma's house to pay respects to my grandfather because it's his anniversary, then ate lunch and went to 2 of my father's friends' houses. Both houses were so nice and big, especially the second one! Won't go into details, but the guy is just so rich. The first house had too many guests which we didn't know, so we just stoned in our little corner before it was time to go. The second visit was to a friend we visited every year, and there were only 2 guests apart from my family, so there was much more talking and it was much less boring.

That's all for the CNY weekend. Seems quite uneventful this year? Maybe because it feels sudden since I've only just started school. And lessons start tomorrow! D: I dread the arrival of our crazy workload. Oh, but there's still the CNY get together next Saturday, which is kind of like our official gambling day at my aunt's house! :DD *rubs hands together with glee* And there's also plans for an OG outing maybe 2 weeks later? :D

Today was fun! Haha, some station games were wet, some disgusting, but overall it was enjoyable :DD But it was also tiring...I knocked out the moment I came back home. :/ It's really a bad habit of mine. Better try to change it before all the homework comes in.

The things we're gonna do tomorrow sound suspicious though. Full change of clothes, including shoes! Hope it will be fun. And after tomorrow I can go back and visit Crescent! :D

School is...okay I guess. But it's getting busy now with so much admin stuff to do. And I'm also not looking forward to the end of orientation, which would mean the arrival of schoolwork and more things to worry about. Oh, and I'm still not decided in what CCA to join...I hope I would have friends in the CCA....I think I'm too tensed up and everything which makes it hard to relax. And there's so much expectations to meet! I hope I can join 2 CCAs, take 4H2 content subjects, and read TIME and Economist regularly!! I'm not sure if I can cope it all...

Schools starting! Tomorrow! And I was so blur to think that it'll start on Monday. -.-

I'm terrified....I'll be thrown into an unfamiliar school with unfamiliar people. Should have at least gone for the open house so I would know where to go and all... And they separated Crescentians into different orientation groups on purpose! DD:

Not to mention the stress and hell of JC life.

- Clear my rooommm..... (Yes, it's not done yet)

- Finish reading the Harry Potter series! (Quite impossible within 12 days)

Oh, and should I get a new phone? Really tempted to change my phone...Especially with all the new models. IPhone really made an impact on phone companies. I just want one with a better screen resolution... And I really should start reading Times or something. Maybe it'll help with GP or Econs...

Okay, I've decided that I'm happy. Not overjoyed happy, but just happy. Contented. Relieved. I guess I didn't put enough effort. I was so close to getting what I wanted, but I didn't believe I could do it. So this is what I got.

Woke up this morning feeling very sian. Really dreaded going to school. So I used the computer until the very last minute, and ended up leaving home a little later than planned. And the bus didn't come! Urgh, so I was almost late, and missed some of the stuff they said about submitting the school choices. Anyway, after that they released the overall results, but I knew it was only overall and I could have still done badly, so I just felt moody. Detached from everything. I guess I didn't want to set my expectations too high lest I get disappointed... So, I got the results, A1 for English, E Maths, A Maths and Combined Humans (lit and ss), A2 for Physics, Bio, Geog and B3 for Higher Chinese and Chem. Close enough to what I felt from right after the exams. I totally screwed up Geog and Chem. At that point, I just felt relieved. Will the happiness come to me soon enough? I'm still not feeling it yet though.

Didn't really feel all that happy overall. So many people had better grades. Didn't feel like doing anything...just went straight back home (last time running for the bus?). No idea what school to choose. Maybe try my luck with the top schools? NJ sounds okay...

Sigh, I guess I just want to keep my mind from all this atm.

Went out with Sooch and Lyn today! Haha, lots of talking... Although I screwed up the date, but all in all, in was fun~

Watched "The Tourist" :D. Totally didn't know what it was about, so it was unexpectably awesome! Lots of funny scenes and a weird twist at the end. Oh, and we also met Katty! Twice! Haha, was so cool. Then we chatted at The Coffee Bean.

Feels so good to meet up after so long. And it doesn't even feel awkward. ((:
